Personalized muslins/ Pañitos de bebé personalizados.

Hace unos dias compré unos pañitos de bebé, blancos, lisos ya que eran los más baratitos y estarán más tiempo manchados que limpios. Así que como eran un poco sosos y los he visto muy monos por ahí he decidido decorarlos yo misma con algunos dibujos que he encontrado en Internet. Los imprimí, recorté sobre tela y fieltro y cosí. Éste ha sido el resultado.

A few days ago I bought some baby muslins, white and simple. They were the cheapest ones. As they will be the most of the time dirty, I decided to buy these ones. I saw very cute ones out there, so I decided to decorate them myself with some drawings I've found on the Internet. I printed them, cut them out on fabric and felt and sewed.  For quite a long time I didn't write any new entry. I made some pictures of the little things in which I have been working. I continued learning to knit and I have made some clothes for my future baby. I will be mommy in February and that's why I've given up a little bit the blog, although I continued to work on projects. Siempre he querido aprender a hacer punto.  Lo he intentado alguna vez, pero sin llegar hacer realmente nada. Saquitos de lavanda/ Lavander sachets

Cuando estuve en Croacia ví que vendían como souvenir bolsas de lavanda. Por lo visto allí hay bastantes campos en los que se produce. Así que decidí comoprar un poco para rellenar alguna cosita que se me ocurriera hacer. Como todavía tenía que hacerle algun regalito a mi madre y a mi hermana pues he empezado por ahí.

Hice un perrito y un saquito para colgarlo de una percha o de un puerta. A ver que os parece.

So I decided to buy a bit to fill any little thing I could think to do. I still had to make some gift to my mother and my sister so I started there.

Esta semana he encontrado un par de ideas que me han gustado bastante, primero porque necesitan poca tela y segundo porque siempre son una buena opción para un regalito.

La primera en una cartera de viaje, para guardar el pasaporte y los billetes. Siempre viene bien y así no lo tienes perdido por el bolso.

Bolsa para la comida/ Lunch bag

Bueno, por fin he terminado el proyecto. Ha tardado en llegar pero no he tenido mucho tiempo libre. Como podeis ver, al final decidí mezclar la tela plastificada con otra normal para que no fuera todo igual. Además he puesto un par de detallitos. Como la tela tiene fresitas, recorté una grande que dibujé en fieltro y la cosí. Y también hice la frecita colgante del asa . Mañana la estreno en el trabajo :).

Well, I finally finished the project. It was slow but I didn't have too much free time. As you can see, in the end I decided to mix the vinyl fabric with another normal, more fun. Also I made a couple of little details. As the fabric has strawberries in the pattern, I drew a big one and I cut out of felt and sewed. And I also made the little hanging strawberry. I will use it for the first time tomorrow at work : ).

Funda para Ipod/ Ipod case

Mi mejor amigo me encargó hace unos días un estuche para su Ipod. Ya que viene el veranito pues que mejor que el estilo marinero. Con un poco de fieltro azul, tela roja y un lazo a rayas salió esta funda tipo sobre. A mi amigo le ha encantado. A mi también :).

Bolsa para llevar la comida/ Lunch bag

Mi próximo proyecto será una bolsa para llevar la comida al trabajo. El restaurante de la empresa en la que trabajo no es la mejor opción para comer todos los días, por lo que de vez en cuando intento cocinar. El problema de llevar la comida es que alguna vez se acaba derramando, por eso quiero utilizar tela plastificada para el bolso, así será más fácil de limpiar. He conseguido unos retales en Cath Kidston algo más barato de lo normal, y ahora estoy indagando diferentes modelos de bolsa para ver con cual me quedo.

He encontrado un tutorial sobre como hacer una muy bien explicado y lo ha hecho de la funda de una almohada. Os lo dejo aquí, además ella misma ha plastificado la tela, con vinilo que se adhiere mediante planchado.

My next project is a lunch bag. The canteen where I work is not the best option for lunch every day, so occasionally I try to cook. Estuche para móvil/ Mobile phone case

Mi segundo proyecto ha sido una funda para mi móvil. Tengo un teléfono nuevo y necesitaba algo para meterlo en el bolso y que no se ensuciara.

Con unos retales de tela que he conseguido en eBay, hice el exterior con una tela celeste con lunaritos blancos y el interior con una estampada con pequeñas florecitas. Decidí que se viera un filo del forro para así poder utilizar la misma tela para cerrar la funda con un boton. Quería probar nuevas técnicas con la máquina de coser de ahí utilizar el boton para poder practicar los ojales.

My second project was a cover for my mobile. I have a new phone and I needed something to put it in the bag and not get dirty.

 With  fabric patchwork that I got on eBay, I made the exterior side with light blue fabric and little white dots and the interior one with small flowers pattern fabric. I decided to see an edge of the lining in order to use the same fabric to close the bag with a button. I wanted to try new techniques with the sewing machine, this is why I used the button to practice the buttonholes.
