Funda para Ipod/ Ipod case

Mi mejor amigo me encargó hace unos días un estuche para su Ipod. Ya que viene el veranito pues que mejor que el estilo marinero. Con un poco de fieltro azul, tela roja y un lazo a rayas salió esta funda tipo sobre. A mi amigo le ha encantado. A mi también :).

Bolsa para llevar la comida/ Lunch bag

Mi próximo proyecto será una bolsa para llevar la comida al trabajo. El restaurante de la empresa en la que trabajo no es la mejor opción para comer todos los días, por lo que de vez en cuando intento cocinar. El problema de llevar la comida es que alguna vez se acaba derramando, por eso quiero utilizar tela plastificada para el bolso, así será más fácil de limpiar. He conseguido unos retales en Cath Kidston algo más barato de lo normal, y ahora estoy indagando diferentes modelos de bolsa para ver con cual me quedo.

He encontrado un tutorial sobre como hacer una muy bien explicado y lo ha hecho de la funda de una almohada. Os lo dejo aquí, además ella misma ha plastificado la tela, con vinilo que se adhiere mediante planchado.

My next project is a lunch bag. The canteen where I work is not the best option for lunch every day, so occasionally I try to cook. Botitas kimono para bebé/ Baby kimono booties

He encontrado estos zapatitos con el patrón incluido y un tutorial de como hacerlos en el blog que os adjunto a continuación. Tienen también otros modelos. Son muy monos y para ser mi primer intento no han quedado muy mal por lo que diría que no son muy difíciles de hacer.

Aquí os dejo otro buhito que me he inventado yo. Yo misma he hecho el patrón. Esta vez la idea era no dibujar nada y hacerlo entero a base de costura.

Estuche para móvil/ Mobile phone case

Mi segundo proyecto ha sido una funda para mi móvil. Tengo un teléfono nuevo y necesitaba algo para meterlo en el bolso y que no se ensuciara.

Con unos retales de tela que he conseguido en eBay, hice el exterior con una tela celeste con lunaritos blancos y el interior con una estampada con pequeñas florecitas. Decidí que se viera un filo del forro para así poder utilizar la misma tela para cerrar la funda con un boton. Quería probar nuevas técnicas con la máquina de coser de ahí utilizar el boton para poder practicar los ojales.

My second project was a cover for my mobile. I have a new phone and I needed something to put it in the bag and not get dirty.

 With  fabric patchwork that I got on eBay, I made the exterior side with light blue fabric and little white dots and the interior one with small flowers pattern fabric. I decided to see an edge of the lining in order to use the same fabric to close the bag with a button. I wanted to try new techniques with the sewing machine, this is why I used the button to practice the buttonholes.

Como os comenté a parte de las cositas que vaya haciendo publicaré información y páginas web que vaya viendo interesantes. Aquí os dejo la web de Martha Stewart, la cual encontré por casualidad, pero la verdad es que está bastante bien. Indagando un poco sobre la vida de Martha, es una empresaria estadounidense, que formó un imperio con su negocio de estilo de vida y cocina. Publica revistas y tiene su propio programa de televisión.

La web está muy bien organizada y tiene ideas para todo, no sólo podeís encontrar proyectos de costura sino que también veréis manualidades, recetas de cocina, decoración y otros.

Primer proyecto/ First project

Mi primer proyecto ha sido algo muy sencillito y práctico, un alfiletero. Un cojín pequeñito con algunos puntos decorativos a máquina. Con los alfileres tan monos que he comprado queda muy bien jeje.
