Tras el taller de costura decidí comprarme la máquina de coser inmediatamente. Yo cuando quiero algo lo quiero al momento y no puedo esperar. Consulté a la profesora del taller sobre cuál comprar ya que no tenía ni idea y bueno, ella dijo que como era principiante cualquiera estaba bien. Así que fui a Argos. Os comento que vivo en Irlanda, Argos es una cadena que vende de todo a través de catálogo. Tenían unas cuantas marcas y modelos donde elegir, fui a su página web donde los compradores dejan sus opiniones y ví que la que más tenía era la marca Brother, modelo XL2220NT. Era un modelo más o menos básico, todo el mundo parecía contento y no encontré quejas. Fuí a comprarla. La traje a casa la enciendo y... decepción, no funciona. Yo que estaba deseando de empezar... y allí me la tuve que quedar hasta que pude descambiarla 3 días más tarde. Bueno, pensé, no puedo ser negativa, a mi me ha tocado la defectuosa pero no pasa nada, la cambio y ya está. Vuelvo a Argos, me dicen que no les quedan más máquinas del mismo modelo. Yo no estaba dispuesta a volver a casa con las manos vacías, así que elegí otra máquina, ésta vez Brother XL-3600. Un poco más cara pero todo sea por un hobby. Llegué a casa, abrí la caja y bueno ví el pedal y ya supe que algo no estaba bien... El pedal estaba usado y el enchufe lo habían cambiado... cómo puede ser eso posible? Otra vez? A mí?
Del enfado que tenía cogí todo me fui directa al coche y de vuelta a la tienda. Deciros que en el camino me dieron un golpe en el coche y todo. Imaginaros como llegué a la tienda. No le tiré la máquina a la dependienta de milagro. Me contuve, le dije que me tendría que enseñar la nueva máquina si quería que me la llevará porque era la última vez que pensaba volver a la tienda, así lo hicieron y Por fin!! tengo mi máquina y ya he empezado a hacer algunas cositas con ella. Me encanta!! Y cada vez me gusta más.
Lo cierto es que nada más he visto buenos comentarios sobre la marca Brother, así que espero que a la tercera vaya la vencida.

The foot controller was used and the plug had been changed... how can that be possible? Again? Me?
I was really angry, I took everything and I went straight to the car and back to the store. On the way I was hit by a car - the car was not damaged to after exchanging phone numbers I continued to the store. Imagine how angry I came to the store. It was a miracle that I didn't throw the machine at the shop attendant. I held back my self, I said I wanted them to show me the new machine, otherwise I wanted my money back because, it was the last time I was going to come back to the store.
Finally, I did it! I had my machine and I started to do some things with it. I love it! And each time I like it more and more. The truth is that I have seen nothing but good comments about the Brother brand, so I hope that the third time is the charm.
